Author / Health Coach / Athlete
Jerry Snider is an author, entrepreneur, coach, and athlete. After growing up in Baton Rouge, he moved back to his birth state to attend Texas A&M University on a Track & Field scholarship. Earning a degree in Exercise Physiology, coupled with competing at a high level as a distance runner, has given Jerry the knowledge and tools to transform his client's health and fitness.
As a certified Life Breakthrough Coach, Jerry believes in a functional approach to solving problems. Discovering and eliminating the true source of pain (what is holding you back) is far more important than treating the symptoms. He has been cited in several articles, blog posts, and podcasts in regards to health, fitness, wellness, and entrepreneurship.
Jerry is an active volunteer in the Central Texas community. He serves as a member of the City of Hewitt Parks and Beautification Board, City of Hewitt Library Board, serves in his church, and volunteers for several community events each year. In 2017, Jerry created the now annual event Running for Readers 5k to raise money for the Hewitt Public Library.
As a masters (over 40) athlete, Jerry ranks as one of the top distances runners in his age group in the US from the mile to 10k.
