Mark Chartier

Special Education Teacher/Author/Motivational Speaker

Mark Chartier was born in Montreal, Que. and grew up in Port Washington, NY and Colorado Springs, CO. He earned a BA in English at Colorado State University-Pueblo, where he discovered his love for writing. He went on to earn two master’s degrees at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs despite suffering from several disabilities. He now teaches special education in Pueblo, CO. He is also a motivational speaker and speaks at conferences and universities where he shares his triumphs as a student with disabilities and how that led him to become a teacher of students with disabilities.
